Compensatory Leave
Employees who work on what would otherwise be a holiday or a scheduled week-off can be credited with a compensatory leave day in return, rather than that extra effort simply going unrecognized. The system checks first that a comp-off for that specific instance hasn’t already been allocated before crediting another one.

Compensatory Leave (Comp-Off) Management in ERP
Comp-off is tied to its own dedicated leave type in the system, kept distinct from ordinary earned or casual leave, so an employee’s compensatory balance is always visible and trackable on its own rather than blending invisibly into a general leave pool that obscures where the extra days actually came from.
Before a comp-off can be granted, the system confirms that a balance record for that leave type genuinely exists for the employee, so credits are never applied against an account that was never properly set up in the first place. This keeps compensatory leave data consistent with every other leave type in the system.
Once granted, the compensatory day is reflected directly in the employee’s attendance and leave records the same way any other approved leave would be, meaning it can be applied, tracked, and reported on using the exact same workflows staff already use for casual leave, earned leave, or any other leave category.
