Compensatory Leave
When employees work on a scheduled weekly off or a holiday, the institution can grant them a compensatory leave day (comp-off) in return. Before granting it, the system checks whether a comp-off has already been given for the same occasion. This prevents employees from receiving duplicate compensatory leave for the same workday.

Compensatory Leave (Comp-Off) Management in ERP
Compensatory leave is maintained separately from other leave types, such as casual leave or earned leave. This allows the institution to track how many compensatory days each employee has earned and how many are available, without mixing them with their regular leave balance.
Before granting comp-off, the system checks whether the employee has an existing leave balance record for the compensatory leave type. If the record is missing, the system does not grant the credit. This ensures that compensatory leave is added only to a properly configured employee leave account.
Once granted, the compensatory leave is recorded in the employee’s attendance and leave records. It can then be applied for, tracked, and reported using the same process followed for other leave types, making it easier for both employees and HR staff to manage compensatory leave.
